Being ignored

I met this guy online, we really hit it off but since we met he's been ice cold and molten hot on and off. He's 48 and I feel like I'm talking to a teenager (no offence to anyone younger), I say that because he acts really emotionally irresponsible by calling me, starting a conversation with someone else on the phone, telling me he'll call me right back and then completely ignore me. How much of a chance do I give this busy guy. We're just getting to know each other and so far I'm really hating how he blows me off
